Ordered a Veggie Potato and 2x Two-Meat Plates (moist brisket and garlic links, each) which came with two sides (ordered BBQ beans, 2 x potato salad, and corn).
Their little daughter took our order on a tablet. Fortunately, since we got an early start, arrived to find just one person ahead of us. Had read online that lines/wait could be long and that good is liable to run out. Called ahead to learn that they open at noon and at a different location than usual - now at the Firestone Car Care lot on Holzworth, just south of Louetta and across from AMC 10/adjacent to Home Depot. It was quite unprofessional and embarrassing. The woman kept saying "no, no you order this" until the waitress in training had to come clear things up, when it was made clear that the arguing waitress was in fact wrong the woman arguing began speaking to me like a child and patting me on the shoulder saying "it ok it ok". I had to explain to her 6 or 7 times that she ordered something else. They brought wrong orders to our table and when my friend explained she ordered the Sushi Bento the same woman argued with us more, even though she clearly brought out chicken teriyaki instead.5. They brought out my food, sat it in front of me for 2 minutes then took it away to another table, which is against health codes.4. They ignored the kids, made us order for them, and just because they were children they were treated way more poorly than we adults were.3. My daughter and a friend wanted to sit at their own table for her birthday while the parents sat nearby.
She said they only have a 6pc California roll I had to get out the menu and point to the 8pc after arguing back and forth that they do in fact have it.2. I think there is a language barrier, but instead of getting help, she argues with customers.1. There's a woman here training other waitresses, and she's doing a fine job, but her attitude is very weird. We are planning on coming back with another couple so we can be seated at a standard table.įirst off, the chefs here are incredible, everything I have eaten here has been so perfect.The service leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe they took forever with our waters, we had to remind the staff after our first wine. Our waitress was polite and we enjoyed the service. Dinner was fantastic and the service was good. I was thinking about leaving but happy we stayed. I think at the very least there should be a mention of couples sitting at the bar or communicating with me to make it clear ahead of time.

She wore a dress that would have made it uncomfortable for her to sit at the bar, plus not ideal to be sit next to each other instead of facing each other on a date night. We ended up asking to be seated outside, which was nice, it wasn't too hot and it is quite nice out there, but regardless I had made a reservation with plenty of time in advance and was looking to have a nice date dinner with my wife. Instead, the hostess was trying to sit us in the bar, which is not what we were expecting. The only hiccup was we didn't get the standard table I reserved in their main service area. I went at lunchtime and was surprised that I was the only customer until one man came in and told me he eats there every day and sometimes the place is completely packed with people! So if you are passing by and the place looks empty, that might be your best chance for a quick visit!
The server was nice and expressed gratitude for my visit. It's more like a salty clear sauce with a little turmeric cooked into it. It's a different kind of curry than what you would get from an Indian or Jamaican restaurant. All the fried stuff was perfectly crispy and flaky. The steak on the stick was tender and tasty, the ribs were also tender and juicy with a nice sauce on them. It's a small place on the side of the feeder road and it's easy to pass without noticing it but it's definitely worth stopping in! I've had amazing food each time I've been here!
